Frequently asked questions
Writing, connecting, charging, and keeping your content.
What is Tuneliq Card?
A Tuneliq Card is a greeting card that sings. You make a song in the Tuneliq app, record a voice message, and write both to Tuneliq Card. The person you give it to switches it on and hears the music. No app. No internet.
Can I replace the song on the card?
Yes. Hold the Button for about 5 seconds to enter setup mode, then write new content from the app. The new song and voice message replace what was on the card before.
Why can't the app find the card?
First, make sure the card is switched on. Bluetooth is off in gift mode. Hold the Button for about 5 seconds, let go after three prompt tones, and wait for the card to restart in setup mode before searching again.
Why doesn't the card respond when I plug it in?
Make sure the Power Switch is pushed up to the on position. The card does not charge or show a light while it is switched off. A steady red light means it is charging.
Does the song stay on the card if the battery runs flat?
Yes. The song is stored in persistent memory. A flat battery stops playback but does not erase the content.
Can I edit the card with a different phone?
Yes. The card is not tied to one phone. Anyone who can access the card and put it in setup mode can change its content. A locked Time Capsule still needs its code for early unlocking.
What happens to my songs and recordings if I uninstall the app?
Songs and recordings that have not been backed up are stored on your phone by default and cannot be recovered after you uninstall the app. Content already written to the card is not affected.
