Do I need to know anything about music?

No, and this is the question that stops most people before they even start. You don't have to read music or carry a tune. You just write down what you'd say to the person. Maybe it's a memory. Maybe it's an inside joke, or the sentence you've never quite managed to say out loud. Tuneliq drafts the lyrics from that, and you can change any line until it reads like something you'd actually say. Then it composes the music, backing instruments and all, and adds a sung vocal on top. That voice is AI-composed. It isn't you singing, and it isn't a copy of anyone's real voice. How long does it take, and how long is the song?

About five minutes, from the moment you start writing to a song you can actually give. The song runs two to three minutes, and never longer than five. If you want, you can record a short spoken intro in your own voice, up to sixty seconds, so the person hears you first and the song second. That part is optional. Some people skip it. Some feel it's the whole point.

Is this the same as Suno or an AI music maker?

Those tools are real, and they're genuinely fun, so it's a fair thing to ask. The difference is who you become when you use it. Suno makes you the creator of a track. Tuneliq makes you the gift-giver of a song written for one person. One is for making music and playing with it. The other is for saying something to somebody who matters. Who is it for, and when should you skip it?

It's built for a couple of moments. One is a milestone with a partner: an anniversary, or maybe a proposal. Sometimes it's just the day you want "our song" to finally exist. Birthdays, Mother's Day, Father's Day, a graduation, a holiday when you're too far away to be there in person, those are the everyday reasons people make one.

And if what you actually want is a professional music tool, or a pile of songs to keep on shuffle, this isn't the thing. Tuneliq makes one song for one person. When that's not what you're after, an ordinary music app will treat you better.

Where does the song live, and how do I give it?

Your songs stay on your phone by default. Nothing goes to the cloud unless you choose to share, and if you never share, the song never leaves your device. When you're ready to give one, you make a link or a QR code. The person taps it and the song plays, with no app to download and no account to set up. You stay in control the whole time: you can stop sharing whenever you like, and the moment you do, it comes off the cloud.
